How Propecia can give back the confidence of a full head of hair

Male Pattern Baldness Treatments

In this article i would like to discuss one of the possible forms of treatment for a very common known condition among men, hair loss. The drug is call Propecia, contains a medicine known as Finasteride. Finasteride was first patented back in 1984 but was not approved to be used in medicine until later in 1992. As far as how Propecia works, it is by trying to prevent the testosterone in your body from converting to another substance known as dihydro testosterone. This is one of the key reason why many men undergo hair loss but thankfully it can be treated. Propecia treats hair loss on your vertex and anterior mid-scalp area.

When it occurs

Male pattern baldness in general is, as you can imagine, a common condition where men experience hair loss due to the thinning of their scalp. You will notice the classic horseshoe shape hairline of circular patch on the back of the head when this occurs fully. It is important to note for this article that we are specifically talking about MALE pattern baldness. Woman and children should never take or even be exposed to Propecia as it can be absorbed through the skin. If a woman is pregnant she should avoid ever handling the medication either. This generally won’t be an issue as the pills are coated to help prevent absorption as long as the pills remain unbroken or uncrushed, but if this does occur be sure to have the affected area scrubbed clean immediately.

Symptoms

As with any medication you should meet with your doctor first, this is important because you should always be tested to make sure you are not allergic to any active ingredients in this medication before use. This medication will also increase your chances for contracting prostate cancer, so make sure the tests that are run on you also rule out any other factors that may contribute to Propecia not being right for you. This includes factors such as:

  • Bladder muscle disorder
  • A stricture of the urethra
  • Problems urinating
  • A possible allergic reaction to another medication (Avodart) which is very similar in structure to Propecia
  • Prostate Cancer
  • Liver disease, or possibly liver function tests that come back abnormal

Propecia

If, after all this, Buy Propecia online is determined to be the right fit for you it is important to know how to take it. Make sure that you follow the dosage requirements given to you by your doctor. These instructions should always be written on the label for you in case you forget. While Propecia can be taken without food if you so choose, it needs to be taken with a full 8 ounce glass of water at least. Try to make sure that you take this medication around the same time every day if at all possible. If you notice that you have missed a dose, do not attempt to go without it for the day, take it as soon as you noticed you have missed it.

Medication

Propecia needs to be taken consistently if you wanted to get the most out of it, and it will not be immediate results either. Reports have been confirmed that it could be months before you see a noticeable difference so be patient and aim for the long term goal you have in mind regarding your hair loss. If you are not consistent in taking this medication or if you stop completely, you will probably notice that your hair loss re-occurs around a year after you stop.

Speak with your doctor

Even if you do not notice any symptoms that are hazardous to your health, you should still meet with your doctor regularly in order to have your blood tested and your prostate examined. Your health will always be more important than your hair so be sure to take this very seriously. If for whatever reason you or someone you know has overdosed on Propecia be sure to see medical attention immediately. You can also call the Poison Help line for further assistance if needed. While it is a serious medical issue it is not expected be to life-threatening. So talk to your doctor, do your research, and find out if it is right for you. It may just be your ticket to a better fuller head of hair. And as always be happy, and be healthy.

I have been suffering from moderate hair loss and am very pleased with the results of this treatment so far. My hair is much thicker than it was six months ago.

I have a friend who has been using Procepia for the last 6 months. In that time the results have been incredible. Before the use of Procepia his scalp was clearly visible with the signs of baldness. However, since using Procepia I can barely notice the balding pattern and the results are only after a month.

I was losing my hair and losing hope as well. Propecia gave me my hair back, while giving back my self confidence. I recommend it enthusiastically.

I feel like men shouldn’t take propecia because the whole point is to look good and if you’re not confident in yourself then it doesnt matter what you look like. I feel that those who do take it though, should take a limited amount due to the side affects such as erectile ddyfunction and depression.

Willing to do a Propecia trial for about a year and see what happens to me and my partner. I’m 30 year old.

Propecia has changed my life dramatically, it is an extremely effective medication for men with a hair loss problem. I am significantly confident, less stressed and more importantly happier with the results.

This was the answer to my hair loss. Some said it wasn’t so bad, but at only 30, I’m glad Procepia was available to keep me looking my age. I’m not ready to be an old man.
