Propecia Side effects and Precautions

Hair Loss Treatment: Propecia

This medication works by decreasing the amount of a natural body hormone (DHT). Decreasing the amount of DHT leads to increased hair regrowth and slower hair loss.Hair growth on other parts of the body is not affected by finasteride. Androgeneic alopecia (male pattern hair loss) is caused by androgen-dependent miniaturization of scalp hair follicles, with scalp dihydrotestosterone (DHT)implicated as a contributing cause. Finasteride,an inhibitor of type II 5 alpha-reductase,decreases serum and scalp DHT by inhibiting conversion of testosterone to DHT.

Finasteride

To discuss about finasteride, how it works, what are its side effects and treatment of hair loss, then how to buy Propecia online.

Working of Propecia

Popping a pill to thwart thinning hair may sound too good to be true, but it’s possible with finasteride (Propecia) The drug works by lowering levels of a hormone that shrinks hair follicles, called dihydrotestosterone(DHT). It slows hair loss in about 88% of men and helps hair regrow in about 66%.You need a doctor’s prescription to get finasteride, which you take every day.Be patient, though it can take 6 months to see results, because hair loss and growth happen slowly.

Side effects of Propecia

  • Impotence
  • Loss of interest in sex
  • Trouble having an orgasm
  • Abnormal ejaculation
  • Swelling in your hands or feet
  • Swelling or tenderness in your breasts
  • Dizziness
  • Weakness

Treatment of hair loss

In the past few years, medicine has made tremendous strides in the treatment of men’s hair loss. With the advent of 5-alpha-reductace inhibitors such as Propecia in South Africa and the evolution of surgical hair restoration, living with noticeable hair loss is no longer inevitable. For the first time in the history it is now possible to stop the progression of hair loss and to replace lost hair through surgery with completely natural results.

However, with that said, the vast majority of hair loss treatments being marketed today are still nothing but ”snake oils”. If a hair loss treatment is not approved by the FDA or recommended by the American Hair Loss Association, chances are you are wasting your time and money. Remember that successful treatment of hair loss is greatly dependent on early intervention. It is critical to begin treatment with an effective product as soon as you notice the onset of hair loss.

How to buy Propecia online

It is easy to  buy Propecia in online since there are so many websites to sell the Propecia. Like blink health, super drug online doctor, getroman etc. With doctor’s prescription we can took the medicine from online itself also it is very simple and easy way. It is normal thing to purchase and not a such very big task to struggle.

Uses

This medication is used to treat male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) at the crown and in the middle of the scalp. It should be used by adult men only. This medication works by decreasing the amount of a natural body hormone(DHT). Decreasing the amount leads to increased hair regrowth and slower hair loss. Hair growth on other parts of the body is not affected finasteride. Women and children should not use this medication. Finasteride is not approved for prevention of prostate cancer. It may slightly increase the risk of developing a very serious form of prostate cancer. Talk to your doctor about the benefits and risks.

Results

Finasteride treatment improved scalp hair by all evaluation techniques at 1 and 2 years  (P< .001 vs placebo, all comparison). Clinically significant increases in hair count (baseline=876 hairs),measured in a 1-inch diameter circular area (5.1 cm)of  balding vertex scalp, were observed with finasteride treatment (107 and 138 hairs vs placebo at 1 and 2 years,respectively,p<.001). Treatment with placebo resulted in progressive hair loss. Patient’s self-assessment demonstrated that finasteride treatment slowed hair loss, increased hair growth, and improved appearance of hair. These improvements were corroborated by investigator assessments of photographs. Adverse effects were minimal.

Conclusion

A finasteride exposure as a causal or contributory factor and depression-related event is difficult to assess based on the limited information provided in the cases and the presence of confounding factors (i.e.medical conditions associated with depression, use of medications labeled for depression. However we identified cases of positive challenges that support a possible association. Thus we have been discussed about Propecia in detail.

I was recommended Propecia from my doctor a couple months ago and I am so thankful that it has been working for me. I would definitely recommend it.

I was highly skeptical when I first was given Propecia. However, I was so embarrassed about my balding that I was willing to try anything. It took awhile but it eventually worked well for me.

I have tried so many products to help with balding and this is the only one that has actually worked and i love.

I think this was a scary experience to lose your hair.

Also, I think the side effects were scary, but I’m glad the side effects never came back.

I haven’t lost much hair myself, but I think it was a great idea for the person to take the drug finasteride in order for the hair to recover.

I agree that going to the gym and working out counter balances things.

I work out at home with dumbbells and weights, and they are helpful.

I hope that this person continues to recover well.

It seems that they are on the right track.

My husband has been suffering from post-finasteride syndrome (generic propecia) since 2017. He is depressed, has muscle tone loss, and low libido. He only took the drug for 5 days but has been suffering for over 2 years. He feels terrible constantly. Some changes in his diet have helped, but hasn’t been happy at all and our marriage has suffered almost as much as he has.

I started using Propecia at the age of 30, after starting to lose my hair. I was concerned about the side effects but luckily my body handles drugs very well. I have experienced significant regrowth and am felling great!

During my college days, I started stressing a lot about my workload. I was doing full time as a data analyst and I was also going to school full-time during the weekends. I was living this stressful lifestyle for 2 semesters because I needed the money to care for my sick mother. During this time, I was losing my hair from stress. I started becoming self conscious about myself. Depression played a part. Then I found out about Finasteride and I started taking it for 5 years. I started seeing my hair grow back within a year of use. My confidence came back. I finished school. My mom got better. I don’t stress any more. I have a whole new life.

Two-thirds of men will experience noticeable hair loss by age 35. If you decide to fight to keep it, we can help with a treatment plan and prescription (if approved).Roman physicians can prescribe FDA approved Finasteride (Generic Propecia) and give you a treatment plan designed by Dr. Tzvi Doron and Dr. Seth Cohen.

Propecia is a double win medication! My brother took it for hair loss but was also told that it helped with enlarged prostate. His side effects were minimal and it really did not help his hair loss very much.

Although Propecia can be used to treat hair loss and prostate enlargement in men, it doesn’t come without some considerable risk. Although this may not affect every man, it is encouraged that you speak with your physician about the potential risks. I myself am hesitant about taking the drug given those risks involving loss of libido.

I have a very close friend who has suffered from Propecia for approximately the past ten years. She has been devastated by this condition and has all but withdrawn from her social circle because of it. She no longer attends church or community events and only maintains contact with a few very close friends. I recommended that she consult a physician that specializes in this disorder to see if there are medications or treatment that could improve the condition as well as her quality of life. My friend has made the appointment and said she will do whatever is necessary to regain some of her hair. I am excited to see the results! It is my hope that the condition will improve and that my friends will return to the confident and happy individual that we knew in the past.

I have never used this medication so I have no opinion. Due to this I have never had any negative or positive reaction from taking it. I am not fully qualified to rate this medication.

I tried using Rogaine when I first noticed my hairline receding at the crown and used it until I’d hit my regrowth goal. I have heard Propecia works better, but I am nervous about potential side effects with an oral medication.

When I first started experiencing hair loss, it was a big deal for me, and I started feeling depressed. A friend of mine recommended using Propecia. I was skeptical at first, because the drug treats both hair loss and enlarged prostate – two very different things. However, after I tried it, I’ve definitely seen some improvement.

I have been losing my hair for a long time but I never wanted to admit it. I used propecia for a while and a lot of hair came back, but I stopped when my wife became pregnant. I didn’t like the feeling it gave me but I liked having my hair Back.
